A Nomination Committee refers to a group of board members responsible for the corporate governance of an organization. Nominating committee members typically work to evaluate the characteristics and performance of board members and are responsible for selecting the best candidates for each seat on the board.
Committee's Main Roles and Responsibilities
☑ To identify suitable candidates for the Banks’ key positions, such as Committee Members, Board of Management, CEO, Deputy CEO, and other C level staff members.
☑ To determine the key criteria for nominating a Candidate for key position, like candidates past experience, qualification, age, and relevant skills required for the intended job.
☑ To review and recommend the Succession Plan of the Bank to the full Board.
☑ To ensure that Shareholders’ approval is sought for remuneration matters which requires it.
