Job Description:

Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the finance department.
Manage the preparation and presentation of the annual budgets of head office and branches
Finalize the quarterly and monthly review reports of  budget to ensure consistency and accuracy and provide assistance with budget development to departments as necessary
Co-ordinate audits with external auditors, DAB and other parties as and when required.
Supervise, manage and mentor all staff within the Finance Department.
Review the investments portfolio on weekly basis and give recommendations to CFO on the composition and diversification of it.
Approving advances and payments as per finance policy limits and rules
Monitoring the FX positions of the bank and ensuring the bank complies with regulatory and internal limits  
Ensure that the expenses and revenues are booked by the accrual basis at the end of every month and financial statements represent true and fair view of the bank
Provides leadership to the bank in general and Finance department in specifics, with the close cooperation with CFO and other senior managers.
Develop and produce annual finance department work plans and regular reporting mechanisms in consultation with the CFO.
Establishes and implements proper financial controls.
Ensures that all the assets of the bank are earning a good return as per the bank's investment policies and other financial resources are utilized effectively.
Manages, monitors and evaluates performances of staffs reporting to.
Takes the mantle of CFO in his absence.
Other related duties as may be assigned by CEO/CFO from time to time.

Job Requirements:

Bachelors Degree, Account/Finance 

Master Degree will be preferred.

Fluent communication skills (written and verbal) in Afghan local languages as well as English. 

Ability to use MS-Office packages.and managerial skills 

4 Years experiance Related to the field in banking section.
